Los Angeles right-handed Tyler Glasnow’s term with the organization is hidden by injuries.

In the 2024 season, Glasnow first pitched with the , with the right-hander pitching a career-high 134 innings. Glasnow was poised to lead the ‘ rotation in the postseason, but those plans disappeared when his campaign was shortened by elbow pain.
Glasnow missed the entire postseason, but the right-handed was expected to return to full health in 2025.
The 31-year-old focused on bringing some change to the mechanics this spring, hoping to prevent all sorts of arm injuries in his second season with the .
Behold, Glasnow avoided shoulder discomfort after only 18 innings of work in April.
After getting off to the injured list for the first start, Glasnow allowed the Milwaukee brewer one unknown run and three walks with two hits over five frames.
He was on a solid journey, but manager Dave Roberts wants to see more from right-handed.
“I know no one is more annoyed than Tyler,” Roberts said. “You love that guy. You love your teammates. You can’t deny talent, certainly. But for me, for us, you want reliability. That’s what I’m looking for from Tyler from now on.
“Capacity, production when he is healthy, when he is right, he is as good as he is in the game,” Roberts said. “If we didn’t feel that way, we wouldn’t have locked him in (in a multi-year contract), right? It’s there, it’s there.
Since April 2024, Glasnow has dealt with five different injuries. The invested $136.5 million in right-handed people, but it’s clear that the team hopes they can turn things into trustworthy arms in the rotation.
