The Octagon MMA heads to Dortmund with cards filled with German talent. On Friday morning weigh-in, Dennis Ilbay and Max Holzer were ahead of the highly anticipated main event. Ilbey was visibly angry at Holzer’s comments about him and pressed “Stiffler” as he approached him.

Max Holzer laughed at the push and commented on the Instagram post. Ilbay rarely put his emotions into his best, but Holzer reaches under Ilbay’s skin. Oktagonmma’s official Instagram account has released a video of Ilbay talking about driving to Hannover in a car. Holzer laughed on Instagram about a statement from Ilbay.

Dennis Ilbay got caught up in the fight with an 8-1 MMA record, achieving his three straight wins. Ilbay was only one decision in his entire career, outside of that fight. All his victory comes with a devastating finish. Ilbay ranks seventh in the featherweight division, and defeating Max Holzer allowed him to push “El Pistrero” into the title fight against losene keita. His relationship with his father, Galip Ilbey, is very well documented. They navigate Ilbay’s successful boxing career together and are now looking to continue their momentum in MMA.
Max Holzer entered the fight with a 10-0 record, eight of which win eight in the finish. On his final outing, he took on Eugene Black Dell with a brief notice and won with a dominant unanimous decision. Holzer had been calling Ibay for a long time, and the fighter pair had a small argument at a postwar press conference on Oktagon 62.
Both fighters have gone through many media outlets that take part in this fight. The press conference will be held later today. That means they have to face it again before they can settle the beef on a Saturday night.
