The full trade sends Feduccia from the , right-handed pitcher Brian Van Belle from the Cincinnati Reds to the Rays, while right-handed pitcher Zach Littel goes to the Reds.
The have lost one player in Feduccia, the team’s third catcher on the 40-man roster behind Will Smith and Dalton Rushing. Feduccia appeared in just seven career games in MLB, with an OPS of .697 to 4-14.
In Triple A this year, he hit .287 with nine home runs, 51 RBI and .858 on OPS. He wasn’t going to get time to play for LA to get Smith’s injuries or hasty.

Gervase, 25, appears to be the only player currently able to support the in this deal.
The New York Mets’ previous 12th pick in 2022 pitched just 6.1 innings at the MLB level, with the ERA scored 4.26. However, this year in Triple-A, he made 28 appearances and won a 3.12 ERA with 63 strikeouts in 40.1 innings.

The 27-year-old Rortvedt appeared in 26 games at MLB levels this season, reaching .095 with .297 on OPS. He made 209 career appearances at the MLB level and hit .186.

He’s been away from potentially helping the for a few years, but gives them another arm to work with and try to develop. He was the Reds’ No. 10 prospect per MLB pipeline.
