The Los Angeles made right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller an option on Thursday, the day after their first major league start of the season.

Miller allowed six runs in three innings on Wednesday, including a home run against the Colorado Rockies. Nevertheless, the swept Colorado with an 8-7 victory.
Using with a six-man rotation on the list of Blake Snell injured, LA turned to Miller to pitch in the series finale at Stadium. The right-hander arrived in LA with a 2.25 ERA in three triple-A appearances this season.
The wanted Miller to play like a rookie year. There he recorded a 3.76 ERA with 119 strikeouts in 124.1 innings. Unfortunately, the right-hander continued to where he left off in 2024.
Miller produced an 8.52 ERA in 56 innings last season. He arrived at Camelback Ranch as one of three starting pitchers competing for the final spot in the rotation, but was on the sidelines after being attacked by a comebacker at the ‘ Cactus League opener.
The gave Miller the opportunity to prove themselves, but the right-hander had another disappointing performance.
