According to Fabrizio Romano, Hwang Hee-chan will not leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer despite his interest in serving from two Premier League clubs. Wolf board and manager Vittle Pereira sees Korean attackers as a key part of their plans for the near future.
Wolves signed fans from RB Leipzig on their first loan agreement in the summer of 2021, and the following year was permanent for a fee of around 17 million euros. The 29-year-old, who can play anywhere on the front line, has made 121 appearances in every club’s tournament so far, scoring 24 goals and producing eight assists. He has also ever had a 71 limit for Korea under his belt.
The Hwang deal has three years left, and there is the option of extending it for another year.
