Wolverhampton Wanderers are ready to join Aston Villa and Leeds United in the race, according to a recent report.
Wolves chase more additions after Lopez’s signature
Wolves confirmed the initial signature of the summer transfer window on Friday. Attacking midfielder Fer Lopez joined the club from Spanish Celta Vigo on a deal worth £19 million.
Lopez may be seen as a replacement for Mateus Cunha, who joined Manchester United in this window. After signing the club, Lopez reveals it is a “amazing opportunity in his career” and considers manager Vitor Pereira to be “top.”

He was able to sign their second window.
“It’s a great opportunity for my career to play in the Premier League and I’m very happy.
“(Manager) Vittle (Pereira) said he thought I was the right fit for the team.
“When Vitor came, the team went very well. I think he’s at the top so I’m very excited to be with him.”
The Midlands report SkySports showing “intention” when signing Connor Cody, so they may not have to wait long to get their next signature through the door. The centre-back is free to leave Leicester City, but as Russell Martin is keen to bring experienced defenders to the Rangers this summer, the wolves aren’t the only teams that are looking to deal.
Wolves ready to participate in Aston Villa and Leeds at Ruskin Race
Not only do the Midlands want to beat Rangers to Cody’s signature, but Wolves will be in the bid for Rangers midfielder Nicholas Ruskin, according to Record Sports.
The report says the Premier League side has been paying attention to midfielder performances over the past 18 months, and he is currently high on the list of potential targets for this transfer window. He added that Ruskin’s representatives are aware of the interest from the wolves.
Ruskin, who has been called “incredible” in the past by Chris Boyd, still has two years on a contract with Ibrox, but GERS technical director Kevin Selwell is preparing a new contract offer for the midfielder to stay with the club. However, a new report reveals that Raskin is “ready to quit” as Ranger, and that he can quickly communicate his desire to leave to the club.
This is not only welcome news for wolves, but it will also be a great joy for Aston Villa and Leeds United, who are keen to sign Belgian International.
Raskin’s chances of arrival at Molineux are expensive as it is claimed that Rangers will try to win around £25 million if they leave this summer.
