Leeds United are looking to improve their offensive units at the end of the season, tied to Norwich City’s Boluja Sainz’s move.
Popular critic Don Goodman thinks the move to Leeds is ideal for Norwich strikers. He has had a great season in the championship and may try to play at a higher level. Leeds could offer him Premier League football next season.
“It’s been a poor season for Norwich City, but even if Bolujah Sign stays with Norwich to compete at the top of next season’s championship, you’ll say it’s hard to be certain,” he told FLW.
“We have had such a great season and I am sure Sainz is hoping to try and play Premier League football and very high-end football in Europe.
“Obviously, Leeds United will provide Premier League football, so it will be easy if you ask me.
“If that’s the option for Sainz to leave Norwich for Leeds, why wouldn’t he take it?”
Borja Sainz is a useful addition
Meanwhile, Leeds already has Joel Pillow leading the line for them, and he has stood out for them with goals in the 19 league this season. He is expected to become Leeds’ first choice striker next year as well, and Sainz will have to compete with him for the starting spot.
It is still unknown whether Norwich’s star is passionate about movement.
The opportunity to join Leeds is extremely exciting. It will allow him to test himself at a high level. The striker has scored 18 goals in all competitions this season and is looking to make his mark in the Premier League if a transfer occurs.
Plus, the 24-year-old Spaniard can be operated anywhere on the front 3, and his versatility could be a bonus for Leeds.
Leeds needs quality players to survive in the Premier League and links them with multiple new signatures. It will be interesting to see if he decides to stick with Daniel Fark next season.
