Manchester United manager Reuben Amorim is under great pressure after a disappointing start to the season.
There were rumours that Amorim could quickly show the door. Manchester United have already crashed from the English League Cup, earning three Premier League wins.
The Portuguese manager is supported by quality signatures, but he was unable to provide results on the pitch. Manchester United are still fairly mediocre in their style of football, and their performances are volatile.
Perhaps the changes will need to be made soon, and former Premier League defender Jamie Carrager believes the Portuguese manager is likely to be fired by Christmas.

The critic said in an overlap fan discussion: “I hate to say that you should fire your manager. It’s rude and that’s a man’s job. But at that point I don’t think Reuben Amorim’s job is acceptable, and it’s inevitable that this will happen before Christmas.”
“His statistics are incredible for the Manchester United manager. In 50 games as Manchester United manager, he only scored two goals than was recognized.”
Who will replace Amorim?
Manchester United has already been linked to multiple administrator names. It will be interesting to see who they will bring as his successor.
Amorim was highly regarded throughout Europe before moving to Manchester United and did an incredible job at Sports CP. He will be totally disappointed in how the move to Manchester United worked for him. He would have expected to lead them to the trophy.
It will be interesting to see if Manchester United can help turn that around in the coming weeks. The club’s hierarchy is extremely patient with him, but unless there is a dramatic improvement, it is unlikely that they will stick with him anymore.
