Thunder’s Jalen Williams scored a playoff career-high 34 points in Game 4 victory on Monday

Heading to Game 4 on Monday, the Oklahoma City Thunders were avoiding historic losses. They scored 42 points in Game 3 against Minnesota in the Western Conference Finals.

However, OKC remained resilient in Game 4 and fought for a 128-126 victory. The Thunder currently has a 3-1 series lead and has one victory from punching tickets to the 2025 NBA Finals. A major step up for OKC on the offense was Jalen Williams, who scored a playoff career-high 34 points. The 24-year-old dominates the 2024-25 season.

On Monday evening, the Thunder rose 2-1 for the Timberwolves ahead of Game 4. OKC had to erase a 143-101 defeat to Minnesota on Saturday night. It was SG Jalen Williams who started the game of Thunder hot. He scored 13 points in the first quarter and started 3-3 over the arc. In the game, Williams finished with a career-high 34 points. The previous one-round pick scored another 14 points in the fourth quarter, helping OKC secure a 128-126 victory.

Jalen Williams made the dominant effort in Game 4 of OKC. He finished with 34 points and three rebounds. 5 assists, 3 steels. The young two-way player has had the strongest season of his professional career. He was selected for his first All-Star, All-Defence second team and third team All-NBA. His MVP teammate, Shy Gilgauss Alexander, pointed out that Williams deserves all of his awards this season. Williams is a serious offensive threat and has proven it throughout the 2025 playoffs.

After scoring 13 points in Game 3, Jalen Williams performed a bounceback with 34 points. It’s the new playoff career best. The Oklahoma City Thunder have one victory since the NBA Finals. Thunder head coach Mark Daney said Williams never rushed to see Monday and took what the defense gave him. Game 5 is OKC’s Wedden’s Day Evening. Will Thunder be able to close out the Western Conference Finals at home?
