Coral Springs, Fla. — Tiger Woods’ 16-year-old son, Charlie Woods, is back as a junior amateur in the United States.

Charlie Woods bogeyed his final hole on Thursday and fell into the three-way playoffs for the final spot at Eagle Trace Golf Club. Shot 71 Woods won the playoffs.

It sends him to the US junior for the second year in a row. Next comes the 36 holes qualifying with 264 players stroke plays, with the top 64 moving forward with the play.

The US junior amateur, who has won three consecutive times by Tiger Woods, will be July 21-26 at Trinity Forest, Dallas. This course featured a simple Byron Classic on the PGA Tour.

Charlie Woods qualified as a US junior amateur last year, but with a round of 82-80, he was not close to playing the game.

Charlie Woods, a junior at Benjamin School, won his first significant American Junior Golf Association title in May.
