Tom Aspinall is tired of waiting.
It’s been a year since Aspinel last stepped into the octagon since defending the interim heavyweight championship against the Curtis Blades at UFC 304 in Manchester. Sadly, we don’t seem to be closer to the much-anticipated unification clash with the indisputable heavyweight king John Jones than we did back then. And frankly, Aspinall is tired of it.
In a recent video about the heavyweight star’s YouTube channel, Aspinall begged the UFC to fight someone.
“Give me a fight,” Aspineol said. “Give me a fight. Someone please give me a fight.”
Of course, that’s not all that Aspinall did in the video below. He also showed off an incredible grip strength by pulling pages from Strongman’s Eddie Hall playbook and bending the pan with his bare hands.
After seeing it, you can’t really blame John Jones for being hesitant to sign with the dotted line.
Tom Aspinol “swears to a secret” about his next fight
With fans unhappy with the lack of news, Aspinall tries to calm some of his concerns, revealing that he knows well what’s going on behind the scenes, and seems to suggest that he knows a little more than he is allowed to say.
“We know that everyone wants news of the fight, but we know what’s going on right now,” Aspineol said. “I’m being swearing a bit of a secret, so stay tuned…but the news will come soon.”
Hopefully, the big news will be that aspinel will finally make his shot shine against the “bone” later this year. The others almost certainly draw the wrath of fans of a low-patience fight with Dana White and Co. when it comes to booking the fight they want to see.
