Duran has been appointed as the ‘ top trade target. However, it appears that the Phillies have won the prize.
Duran, 27, could be his best rescuer at this year’s deadline. The right-hander has a 2.01 ERA in 49.1 innings this season. He is a shutdown bailiff and goes behind the Phillies Bullpen, making him an even bigger threat in the National League.
According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Phillies are sending two top prospects (catcher Eduardotite and right-handed pitcher Mick Abel) back to Minnesota for Duran.
