Aragon is one of the few tracks that Top Lac Razgatriogle has not won, a rare one in 2025 World BK.
The BMW rider’s best position on the Spanish track was second place, winning all three races last year, following the Andre Iron None in Race 1 and Alvaro Bautista in both Sunday races.
Last year’s Aragon Round was Razgatrioguru’s first round. He was not full fitness or confident as he returned from his injury after a practice accident on a magical course.
By contrast, he arrived at Aragon this year from behind a 12-race winning streak back to race one at Misano in June, leading Nicolo Brega in a 39-point championship.
Perhaps this will be the best chance for Razgatrioguru to get his first world superbike victory with Aragon on the board.
“We’re having a great season so I’m really happy,” Top Lac Laz Gatrioguru told worldsbk.com before the Aragon round.
“I have never won a World Suv in Aragon. My best position is second. I’m here now. This is my last chance before moving on to MotoGP.
“This weekend I’m going to win. Ducati is very strong here, but I’ll never give up.
“After a big crash at Magny Cours last year, I didn’t try to take risks with Aragon. Now I’m more relaxed. This is the only difference.”
Razgatlioglu has been busy for weeks since the end of summer vacation, with Aragon testing taking place before the French round, and he was concerned about the possibility of Ducati in the final sector and tested the Jerez test before a track day at the American circuit last week.
“In the (Aragon) test, Ducati always made 0.2 or 0.3 seconds in the last sector,” Razgatriogle said.
“I did a day of testing at Jerez, and it was incredibly hot, and the truck was 58 degrees.
“We did a race simulation in the afternoon and worked on a good setup for Jerez, so we did a very good job, which looks positive.
“After that, I went to America, then back to Türkiye and finally back to Aragon. It was a busy week for me!”
