Toprak Razgatlioglu was crowned 2025 World SBK Champion at the final race of the season in Jerez.

After a season-long battle, Razgatlioglu defeated Nicolo Brega to win the title, which will be decided in the final match in 2025. As of the final race in Jerez, the difference between the two teams was 13 points.

In the 2025 season, Razgatlioglu won 21 races, including 13 in a row from Race 1 of the Emilia Romagna round in May to Race 1 of the Aragon round at the end of September. This matched the record for consecutive wins en route to the 2024 title.

He retired only twice, first in Race 2 at Phillip Island, then in the Superpole race at Jerez due to a collision with Brega, and once in the Phillip Island Superpole race without a score.

After winning in 2024, this 2025 title marks the first time Razgatlioglu has won the title in consecutive seasons. This is also the third title following 2024 and 2021.

Razgatlioglu remains the only World Superbike Champion from Turkiye, but his manager Kenan Sofoglu won the Supersport World Championship five times during his racing career.

Razgatlioglu, who raced for BMW in 2024 and 2025, plans to switch to MotoGP in 2026. He becomes the first World SBK Champion to move to MotoGP since Ben Spieth, who joined Tech3 Yamaha in 2010 after winning the Superbike title as a rookie in 2009.

Razgatlioglu has had a six-year winning career in the premier class of the Production Derivatives Series, from his first victory in Magny-Cours in 2019 to this year, and will leave WorldSBK with 78 wins and a total of 172 podiums.
