Tottenham have started the season well under new manager Thomas Frank.
Spurs currently sit third in the Premier League behind Arsenal and Liverpool, and are enjoying good results under their new management.
While summer signing Xavi Simmons has shown flashes of talent, another attacking signing, Randal Kolo Muani, has struggled to make an impact.
The Frenchman has missed most of his time at the club through injury so far, leaving Frank with few options up front.
Tottenham need a new deadly striker
The Spurs manager relies heavily on Richarlison in attack, but the Brazilian hasn’t performed at his best.
Spurs have a variety of goalscorers in their squad, which helps the club, but to sustain a long season they need a striker who can be deadly in front of goal, and that’s exactly the type of player the north London club are targeting in the near future.
According to Quotidiano Sportivo, Spurs are interested in joining Blachowicz next year after his strong start to the season with Juventus.
However, the striker is not close to signing a new contract with Juventus and his future in Italy is uncertain as he will become a free agent at the end of the season, making it increasingly likely that Tottenham will sign him.
The attacker has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, who are expected to compete with their London rivals for the Juventus star.
Kolo Muani is struggling for Spurs
The Juventus striker, who has scored four goals for the Italian side this season, has been selected by Spurs to replace Kolo Muani, according to reports.
The Frenchman, who joined Spurs on loan this summer, is not expected to join the Premier League side permanently. Spurs have no option or obligation to sign the player at the end of his loan period.
Blachowicz is a proven goalscorer and a bigger goal threat than Kolo Muani. It’s no surprise that Spurs are targeting a move for him.
