Tottenham Hotspur is tied to the moves of Manchester City midfielder Jack Grelish.
The 29-year-old is scheduled for sale in the summer after failing to score the mark at Manchester City. According to Give Me Sport, he is on the radar at the London Club. They were able to intrigue him this summer.
Man City could consider selling
He could potentially be used for a reasonable amount after not being impressed in Manchester City. If there are specific suggestions on the table, they won’t get in his way. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.
The player was expected to establish himself as a Manchester City star when he paid around £100 million to sign him. However, he scored just 17 goals in 157 games. He also earned 23 assists during that time. His numbers and performances are incredibly overwhelming, and this may be the right time for Manchester City to move on.
Jack Grelish could be a useful addition
Grelish was outstanding for Aston Villa, so if he can regain that form, he could become a key player for Tottenham. They need more depth in the last third, and the 29-year-old can operate in the center as well as the side. He tries to get his career back on track with regular football, and a move to Tottenham might be ideal for him.
Grealish is described as a “fighter” by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
They can offer him Champions League football and regular first-team action. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will be able to negotiate a reasonable deal for him in the coming weeks. They need to improve their teams, and experienced players like Grealish may be very useful to them.
