Tottenham cited £40 million to sign defenders from their Premier League rivals

Tottenham Hotspur is looking at new defenders in the summer, and one of their targets is thought to be the wolf’s left backrayan ait-nouri.

It was a tough season for Tottenham, and injuries were the root of most of their problems. They are particularly affected by defence, but this crisis has resulted in the epic appearance of DJED Spence, who is particularly good as a left-back, despite being more natural on the right.

Ange Postecoglou’s Spence plan involves him fighting Pedro Polo for a right-back starting spot, as plans have been created to sign a new left-back signed in the summer, and Ait-Nouri is on the list of possible targets.

According to football insiders, Tottenham has joined things like Liverpool, Arsenal and Man United, registering interest in the 23-year-old defender. They are determined to sign a competition for Destiny Udogie, whose performance over the last few weeks has been causing concern.

AIT-Nouri is out of contract in 2026, so if you don’t sign a new contract with the Wolves by the end of the season, it could be available in the market during the summer transfer period. It is reported to be a £40 million asking price, which can be considered abrupt for players who can use it for free after 12 months.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham is making AIT-Nouri’s move in the summer, but if he has not signed a new contract with the Wolves before that, it is expected that some clubs will challenge him. He has been a standout left-back in the Premier League over the past few seasons and will certainly improve his post-Coglu side.
