Tottenham Hotspur has launched contacts over the possibility of appointing an “exciting” and “attack” manager, replacing Ange Postecoglou, and speculation continues as to the long-term future of Spurs Boss.
Ange Postecoglou will take up a job at Spurs
The 59-year-old is said to face a last-minute chance to maintain his position in the dugout next season, following the inadequate Premier League campaign in which the Spurs placed 14th in the league after a total of 16 top flight losses.

Fabrizio Romano and other trusted media outlets report that the Europa League is extremely important in saving Postecoglou’s job at Spurs, and failure to perform competitively likely will likely lead to manager changes.

Bournemouth boss Andeni Iraora is considered a target for Tottenham’s top manager if he decides to go in a different direction from the former bacterial gaffer, but Marco Silva of Fulham, Simone Inzagi of Inter Milan, and Thomas Frank of Brentford are linked in his final week.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Lily White’s clash with Entracht Frankfurt in the key Europa League quarter-finals, Post-Ecoglu admitted that he recognizes feelings that he could be fired regardless of the European campaign.
“I came to this club with the clear purpose of rejuvenating the team that was coming at the end of the cycle.” Postcoglu said about his future.
“I think the good thing we might do is turn into half the rhetoric of glass. From that perspective, I don’t think it can be a driver of what we want to do. Young people are really keen to bring success to the club.
“I don’t think you’ll win that argument that persuade people.
“It’s not going to you. It’s just saying the general feelings of people.”
Tottenham was also interested in Crystal Palace boss Oliver Grasner, who led the Eagles to the FA Cup semi-finals, and was impressed by the work they did at Selhurst Park.
Last week, Tottenham was claimed to be a true admirer of Glasner, the head of global football head Jurgen Klopp.
Currently, Sport Bild has another update on Austria and Spurs’ interests.
It is believed that Tottenham contacted Glasner, and they are seen as a serious threat to the prospect of hiring a 50-year-old Leipzig.
Apparently the approach has been made, and supporters will be intrigued to see the brilliant support of Glasner Palace Chairman Steve Parish, who lavished head coach with praise following his appointment last year.
“He has an outstanding record and I believe he is the right manager to move the club forward at this important stage.” The parish said last season.
“Where Oliver has done so far on his management journey, success continues quickly and I believe his ambitions and his exciting, offensive approach are the perfect way to make the most of his talented young team for the rest of this Premier League season.”
Taking this into consideration, his solid management candidate could potentially become a powerful external candidate comparable to Iraora and Silva.
