Tottenham Hotspur is reportedly linked to West Ham United captain Jarrod Bowen’s move, but sources close to Claret & Hugh have dismissed these claims.
Bowen had a productive Hammer season in 2024/25, scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists to the Premier League side in all competitions.
It’s no surprise to see the British star gain attention from the Spurs, who are trying to bolster their offense next season.
Following qualifying for the Champions League after winning the Europa League, the Spurs are ready to address the issues their team is facing, with one of the key issues for the North London Club being the issue of goalscoring.
Tottenham struggles with goalscoring issues
Despite having players like Son Heung-Min, Dominic Solanke, Richarlison and others, Spurs found it difficult to score goals.
However, the report shows that no consultations have been held between the two clubs due to the potential relocation of Bowen and Tottenham.
In Tottenham’s summer reconstruction under Thomas Frank, Bowen frequently connects with his move to London, but earthly reality paints another picture. West Ham has no intention of moving forward with the Star.
Equally important, his contract will run until 2030. That is, the club holds all the leverage. With no financial pressure on sale, Hammer is confident in keeping a star player at the club.
Thomas Frank is about to sign the attack
For the Spurs, who are seeking attack reinforcements after a domestic campaign that didn’t meet expectations, signing offensive players this summer is extremely important, but they have to settle for someone else, not Bowen.
West Ham’s position looks solid, but there is no indication that they will consider the offer unless they are extraordinary or Bowen himself demands a move.
The Spurs are linked to Bournemouth’s moves, and at this stage they look more like an achievable target than Bowen.
