Man City is keen to improve their defense ahead of next season, but one target appears to be off limits.
The left-back looks like an area where Man City is trying to bolster their options. Guardiola is eager to give Josco Gvaldior a race. Nico O’Reilly has come up with some big moments in recent weeks, but it may be too early for the 20-year-old to insist on a normal place for the first team.
And Man City is approaching the house in a chase, and it appears that Destiny Udogie has appeared on the radar. Unfortunately, for Cityzens, a summer deal for Italian International seems unlikely.
Tottenham is not interested in Destiny Udogie Sale
GivemeSport confirmed his interest in Man City’s Udogie, but it has also been reported that Tottenham has no plans to say goodbye to the 22-year-old this summer. Daniel Levy has made it clear that only a very advantageous offer can seduce him into a deal, as he doesn’t want to sell to a particularly direct rival. Juventus is also said to be keen on Udogie, but their interest has not progressed as much as Mancity.
Udogie hasn’t had a great season with Tottenham, which is said by most players, but he is sometimes called publicly by head coach Ange Postecoglou. Nevertheless, he remains a very important player for the North Londoner who wants to bounce back next season. And they intend to do so with him as a key member of their team.
