According to TBR, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are among the clubs keen to sign Aston Villa centre-back Ezri Konsa. Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are also said to be keeping an eye on Konsa, having scouted him over the past 12 months.
Journalist Graham Bailey said: “When we talk to clubs about potential defensive options, Ezri Konsa’s name often comes up.
“Obviously Villa don’t want to sell him, but he has just over two years left on his contract and he is currently one of England’s top defenders and Villa will need to tie him to a new deal.”
“Konsa is a player who nailed it in the Premier League and is now proving himself at international level. It’s no shock to me that some big clubs are eyeing him.”
Konsa has been at Villa since 2019 and has made 248 appearances so far, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists.
