Tottenham Hotspur hopes to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Joa Parchña during the summer transfer.
According to a TBR Football report, they hope to sign in for £20 million, but the German champions are offering it for a fee of around £30 million. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can reach a compromise in the coming weeks.
Portugal International is unable to establish himself as a German champion, and leaving the club is ideal for him. Bayern Munich tries to get some money back from his departure and also invest in his play team.
Tottenham needs Parchinia
Tottenham, meanwhile, will need more physicality and defensive cover in the middle of the park, making the former Fulham star an ideal acquisition. He has shown his abilities in the Premier League in the past and was able to make an immediate impact with the London Club. The reported price seems reasonable for players of his quality and experience.
It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. Pargigna is also linked to Arsenal.
Joao Palhinha needs a new start
The midfielder is at the peak of his career and he needs to play regularly. Sitting on the bench of a German club doesn’t benefit him. Tottenham is an attractive destination and they can also offer him Champions League football.
The difference in ratings between the two clubs is not particularly significant. It is fair to assume that an agreement could be reached in the coming weeks.
The midfielder is labelled as a “fantasy” player by former Tottenham star Harry Kane. Despite the fact that he hasn’t been able to move to a German club for him, there’s no doubt that he has the quality to play for a big club like Tottenham.
