Tottenham Hotspur is beginning to identify potential alternatives to his son Heung Ming, and reports show that the idea of moving in for a “incredible” advance has gained traction among the club’s hierarchy.
Question marks about his son’s future in Tottenham
Tottenham chose to renew his son’s contract until the summer of January 2026, exercising the option of a one-year extension, but there are still questions about South Korea’s long-term future in northern London.
The Spurs have begun identifying potential alternatives for the winger, who is set to turn 33 in the summer amid a slight decline in performance levels this season.
The Matthew Tel, which can be purchased forever for £45 million this summer, is considered an option, but Bayern Munich’s loan has not hit the world since it arrived at the transfer window in January when it failed to score a Premier League goal.

That said, given the injury leaves a limited option for Post Coglu this season, it’s clear that the Spurs can do with some additional depth.
In light of his impressive performance at Bournemouth this season, the 25-year-old was praised as “incredible” by media members, earning seven goals and five assists in the Premier League.
