Fabio Paratici has set his sights on the Scotland international and the money on offer could be a lure for the former Manchester United man to return to the Premier League. But Pete O’Rourke believes it will take a “huge” show of intent from Spurs to push the deal over the line.

He said: “Napoli would not want to weaken the team by losing an important player like Scott McTominay. His contract runs until 2028, so it would cost a lot of money just to consider selling him.”
Interestingly, the same report has floated the idea of Koby Mainu joining Napoli, which could pave the way for a move elsewhere, but that seems unlikely for now.
