Dean Jones said Tottenham is reportedly ready to move to move to Bournemouth forward Antoine Semegno.
Speaking about the transfer from the Paradise Podcast, Jones discussed the future of his son Heung-Min at Spurs, suggesting that Semenyo could be seen as an alternative.
Ghana International was very impressed with the season, scoring 14 goals and five goals for his teammates.
It’s easy to imagine Semeño being a hit with a bigger club. Manchester United have recently been linked to him by SkySport, but there have also been talks about Arsenal watching him as if he’s become independent.

Still, is Tottenham trying to advance their rivals now in Semeño’s race? It seems Jones has heard that it might be.
“At this point, the club is negotiating with a fee to bring Matthiztel in a permanent deal, but we’re beginning to hear whispers that Antoine Semenyo is one of the players they’re trying to sign,” Jones said.
THFC can actually have a good summer after finishing near the relegation zone in 2024/25, and Semeño looks like a player who can help lift his team to level.
Should Semenyo choose Spurs over Man Utd and Arsenal?
However, Semeño himself may not be sure for now whether leaving Bournemouth for Tottenham will really represent a step-up.
The Cherries have had a great season and seemingly are moving in the right direction, so perhaps it only makes sense for him to leave for a true Premier League giant like Man United and Arsenal.
The Red Devils are certainly not the best at the moment, but their history of success means they can still attract big names.
Arsenal was also able to sign off on the offensive this summer, allowing Semeño to realize that he is playing a key role in a team that could compete for the biggest trophy of next season.
