Tottenham Hotspur hopes to appoint Thomas Frank as his new manager and has already spoken with his representative.
According to Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook, the 51-year-old manager told Brentford he wanted to leave them and join Tottenham. It is a huge boost for the North London outfit, and they hope to close the move soon.

Frank was impressed at Brentford
The Danish manager has done a great job at Brentford and is expected to get to the ground running in Tottenham as well. There’s no doubt they have a talented team, and he’ll be expected to make the most of them.
Tottenham finished near the relegation zone last season, and they’ll be desperate to bounce back hard. Frank is expected to lead them to a top four finish. It remains to be seen whether the two clubs will be able to resolve the agreement quickly.
Brentford is pushing for Thomas Frank to leave
Brentford doesn’t want to lose a quality manager like him, but they can’t stop him from leaving. They cannot hope to hold Frank against his wishes and have to agree to let him go.
Tottenham released Ange Postecoglou from his duties after winning the UEFA Europa League last season. Despite success in club competitions, the league’s performance was miserable under Australian managers. A new start would be ideal for Tottenham.
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old has proven himself in the Premier League and he aims to take on new challenges. You cannot refuse the opportunity to manage your top clubs. He hopes to seek a trophy with Tottenham. Frank is excellent at Brentford, but he can’t fight them for a big trophy. It makes sense for him to move on.
