Trae Young has a great new roster on his side

The Atlanta Hawks have put together a very strong roster heading into the 2025-26 NBA season.

With the 2025-26 NBA season on the horizon, the Atlanta Hawks have decided to build a competing roster after years of mediocre.

The Hawks traded for Kristaps Porzingis and landed an upgrade at the Center Spot to replace the departing Clint Capella.

However, in another big move, the Hawks completed a sign-and-trade for Nichl Alexander Walker. This will make Trae Young a solid backcourt partner.

The Hawks signed these and convinced Trae to stay young. But what does their roster look like from a rotation perspective?

With the Atlanta Hawks signing several different players, they will have to tinker with new rotations heading into the season.

I’m also hoping that vit krejci and Nikola djurisic will spin, but two-way stars like Edi Ndiaye and Jacob Toppin will fight for a few minutes.

If Jalen Johnson and Asa Newell impressed head coach Quinsnyder, they were able to make it into the Hawks’ starting lineup.

The Atlanta Hawks did an incredible job building a roster this summer. In a way, their timing could not have been any better.

The Hawks are in a strong position to put their place at the top of the Eastern Conference as the Indiana Pacers and Boston Celtics emerged from the championship battle due to injuries next season.

For Trae Young, the roster is a hope that they can compete for the NBA championship. But Young’s competitiveness isn’t the only one who hopes this is true.

If Young wants to sign him for a big deal, the Hawks need to show a competitive temper. As things stand, the Hawks monitor this roster with the youth before offering contract extensions.

Expect the Hawks to be one of the brightest teams in the Eastern Conference and even run deep in the playoffs.
