It’s interesting to see the reaction to the news that Trent Alexander Arnold’s move to Real Madrid is now certain.
Anyway, on social media, there has been a lot of backlash from Liverpool fans, but I don’t know if I’ll see or hear that from the games I’m going to Liverpool fans.
I think they’ll understand Trent’s decision, especially for free, even if it hurts them watching him go.
He provided so many services to the club and won many along with them. He went through the ranks, and he didn’t cost anything in terms of transfer fees, justifying all the wages he paid in his performance at Anfield.
Liverpool fans shouldn’t gratify Trent Alexander Arnold on this big occasion
So why do you grumble his move to Madrid now? He has achieved everything he dreamed of at Liverpool, and now he wants to try something new at the world’s biggest club. You don’t get that opportunity every day.
Some Liverpool fans are troubled by the fact that the club is not making money from the real that allows them to reinvest in his alternatives, but that’s the path of the world right now.
If he signed a new contract, he may not have been able to sign Madrid. Like I said, opportunities for such movements don’t happen every day.
That’s clearly a bit of a warning for Arsenal, too, and Madrid sniffs William Saliba as he prepares to enter the final two years of his contract.
We know they want to tell their targets to carry out their current deal.
But for now, it’s somehow, and for Liverpool they’ll have to move on without Alexander Arnold.
It affects them. Looking at the creative numbers they’ll be missing next season shows that he leaves a big gap that needs stuffing.
Jeremie Frimpong is mentioned as a possible alternative, and on paper anyway it looks like a good fit. He shows whether he is a threat to the right with Bayer Leberkusen.
It’s a shame that Liverpool will see Alexander Arnold go, but things will always go ahead and will definitely be reinforced wisely. They already have Connor Bradley, don’t forget, who showed him what talent.
