Truck House Racing revealed that MotoGP rookie Ai Ogura suffered multiple bruises to the bone in his hand and suffered soft tissue damage in his leg in a crash at the San Marino Grand Prix.
The Japanese rider fell from his Aprilia RS-GP on lap 27 on Sunday at Misano, canceling the race after his media commitment.
Ai Ogura has not even participated in previous runs on Monday in post-race tests.
Truckhouse has now revealed he was seriously injured in a Turn 12 crash, but has multiple bruises to the bone and swelling.
As a result, he will return to Japan on Tuesday and begin recovery two weeks later ahead of the home event.

Ogra has already faced injuries in his rookie campaign, with Japanese riders missing the UK and Aragon Grands Prix due to knee damage caused by crash.
