Scott Reading has confirmed his return to the UK Superbike Championship Action.
Redding will race PBM Ducati, where regular rider Glen Irwin, has been injured for the remainder of the season.
Redding will race at Brands Hatch this weekend, and will miss the World Superbike Championship Round in Hungary, where he will represent Bonovo MGM Ducati.
Two questions remain as Scott Reading replaces Glenn Irwin

But there are still major questions.
The future of Redding on his WorldSBK team is unconfirmed. It has not yet been revealed how Bonovo MGM Ducati will progress on WorldSBK.
Tarran Mackenzie is rumoured to replace Worldsbk’s Redding.
It has not yet been confirmed how the PBM Ducati BSB teams will line up when Irwin recovers from their injuries.
They run two bikes and appear to have Reading and Irwin as teammates.
Irwin needed surgery after injuring the hip and his pelvis in a crash at Snettan. However, he claims he will be back by the end of the BSB season.
But for now, PBM Ducati is in Reading at Irwin’s location.
Redding also replaced Irwin in Knockhill’s final BSB round. Now he’s returned to Brand Hatch for the first time since the 2019 BSB winning season.
Redding said: “I’m so happy to be back for the rest of the season at BSB. The reception I got at Knock Hill was amazing. At Donington Park, the number of people who asked me about what I was doing at Knock Hill said what I did on those terms.
“I think the most used phrase was “baptism of fire.” I think this is the right word to use, to be honest.
“It was very interesting at Knock Hill. I went back for the rest of the year and now I’ve spin-out on my Knock Hill bike. The Hager PBM Ducati is a good bike and I know the team is very good.
“It was a great feeling to be back at the BSB paddock with a team I know and be well respected and known over the years.
“Knockhill feels really good so I look forward to going to the brand’s hatch. It’s not one of the easy things, it’s always a challenge and I’ll be back again without electronics, but this is what I signed up for and I couldn’t wait to get the job done.
“The Brand Hatch is a big round with all the fans and one of the biggest races on the calendar and I can’t wait to see them all again. I’ll do my best I can and it’s great to get back to the podium.
Jordan Bird, owner of the co-team, said: “It’s great to see Scott confirmed for the rest of the season, and his outing at Knockhill threw everything to us, but as usual, Scott showed his class.
“Glenn’s recovery is going brilliantly, he shows the strength and resilience we all knew.
“As always, we must thank our incredible sponsors and support fans. This is a very exciting chapter for PBM and we look forward to hosting a show at Brand Hatch this weekend.”
When will Glen Irwin come back?
Irwin surprisingly showed that he could back the race at BSB by August.
“I was originally afraid that my season was over. Now I’m thinking, coming back and then targeting the podium and targeting victory before the season begins,” he told BBC NI.
“Realistically, you need to have the final four or five meetings. This starts with Cadwell, but if you have the speed of recovery, you won’t rule out previous returns.
“Thruxton might be a good thing to come back. It’s a very relaxed track to ride, but whatever we come back, we’re not just taking the chance, but it’s a medical fit.”
Thruxton Round in Hampshire will be on August 8-10th, and Cadwell Park Round in Lincolnshire will be on August 23-25th.
