The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics were pitted together during the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals.
Following a terrifying battle, the Miami Heat went on top after a 4-3 series victory with the Boston Celtics.
The heat has been led by other than the incredible Jimmy Butler, who spearheaded the team’s 2023 NBA Finals run.
Speaking of this series, it’s the moment when Celtics’ Al Horford is obsessed with NBA fans.
Heading towards the series, the Celtics were considered a favorite to represent the conference in the NBA Finals.
After all, the previous year the Celtics reached the NBA Finals despite losing to the Golden State Warriors. As a result, C was shining with confidence.
This made Horford laugh at the heat after making a 3-pointer in Game 1 of the series. Horford urged the Heat to take a timeout.
As expected, Jimmy Buckett attacked it, making him return to Horford with similar plays in Game 3 of the series. Butler then took off the timeout celebration and imitated Horford.
The fever was in the driver’s seat as they took a 3-0 lead in the series. C tied things together 3-3, but Miami ultimately won the game 7 with a 103-84 victory.
Last season, Butler was traded with the Golden State Warriors after a heat fallout. Jimmy promoted the team during the regular season, but the dub was discontinued in the postseason.
Despite this, the Warriors have not made any moves during the offseason. However, they are heavily linked to Horford after his Celtics exit.
According to NBA insider Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson, the Warriors have reached an oral agreement with Horford.
The only obstacle is a deadlock with Jonathan Cuminga’s organization. Once that’s resolved, Butler and Horford could become Warriors teammates.
