The Indiana Pacers have a historic run in the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The fourth seed of the Eastern Conference, the Indiana Pacers, were certainly one of the top teams heading into the 2025 NBA playoffs.

The Pacers were not disappointed in the first round as they eliminated Giannis Antetocomo and the Milwaukee Bucks in just five games.

But many people were hoping that Pacer would hit the wall in the form of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round. Well, so far, Pacer has surpassed the Cavs and has held a 2-0 lead in the series.

The Pacers registered a comfortable 121-112 Game 1 victory with the Cavaliers, but the story was not the same in Game 2.

In fact, thanks to an incredible game winner by Pacers Tylese Halliburton, they registered a 120-119 victory, and thus won the matchup at the thinnest margin as they registered a 120-119 victory.

Along the way, Pacer engraved his name in NBA history. how? According to ESPN’s Jamal Collier, the team has been 3-1,640 with 7+ in the fourth quarter/OT since the 1997-98 NBA season.

The Halliburton-led Pacer has two of these three victories this postseason alone, becoming a legendary playoff run.

Finishing as the fourth species, the Pacers are not flukes, but are enough to prove that they are one of the dark horses to lift the glorious Larry O’Brien Trophy at the end of the season.

Ahead of the 2025 playoffs, Pacers’ Halliburton became a punching bag for NBA experts as he was voted as the league’s most overrated star.

Well, moving forward now, Halliburton is proving his critics wrong. On top of that, the double NBA All-Star never forgot to call his critics in a silly celebration after hitting the winner of the game.

Hari said he could be fined for NSFW celebrations during the post-match meeting.

“I was waiting for it. I was waiting for it, man. It was just right. It was just right. Yeah, man. I’m willing to take it with joy,” the Pacers star said.

The only thing that the Halliburton and the Pacers definitely need is that they don’t get hooked after taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

After all, Cavs is the first seed of the meeting for reasons and countless until the series ends.
