Tyreese Halliburton issued a bold statement after the Indiana Pacers beat the Milwaukee Bucks to rise 2-0 in the series.
The Pacers won Game 1 117-98, followed by a 123-115 victory in Game 2, giving them a great chance to advance to the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
The contest is not particularly close, but the two teams show a lot of fighting spirit.
Certainly, Halliburton believes the series is already proof that there is something in the NBA.
NBA fans often criticize the lack of rivalry between teams. Now, Halliburton claims that the Pacers and Bucks are offering that exactly.
This year’s series was a repetition of last year’s first round, and the two teams know each other well, as Indiana won six games.
Some “hot moments” in the last two games suggest that love has not been lost between them, and it is made for entertaining viewing.
Halliburton explained his perspective after Game 2.
“We played each other. It feels like we’ve had a million times in the last two years. It feels like we’ve seen all the different reports they can throw at us.
“There are still many games. I’m sure there will be more heated, more competitive moments. All we care about is winning. That extracurricular is an extracurricular curriculum, but it’s fun. It’s fun.
“I’m not going to lie. It’s fun. Now we want to win. They want to win. It’s a competition at the end of the day. We’re not running away from it.”

Of course, Pacer is now now commanding the Bucks once more and moving on to the next round. However, the series remains for the glove until he wins the match in Milwaukee.
With Giannis Antetokounmpo playing great and Damian Lillard returns after a long absence, the Doc Rivers team has every chance in Game 3.

The good news for the Pacers is that they only need to win one of two: It’s not impossible, but it seems very unlikely that Milwaukee will return from 3-1.
But, especially on the back of the Bucks against the wall, Halliburton and Co need to stay focused and finish work as soon as possible.
