Tyreese Halliburton struggled in Game 2 of the NBA Finals as he scored just 17 points in 34 minutes.

The Indiana Pacers took a shocking 1-0 lead in the series as Halliburton led the best playoff comeback of all time in Game 1.

The Oklahoma City Thunder were fully expected to bounce back afterwards, and did exactly that, winning by 16 points.

The biggest reason for the Pacers’ latest overwhelming performance was Halliburton’s lack of offensive production.

The former NBA All-Star was so disappointed with the point guard that he made an interesting comparison with LeBron James’ career lows.

No one expects Halliburton and other superstars to play well in every game, but his strength must always remain the same.

Often, the 25-year-old doesn’t take enough shots and instead cruises the game without feeling his presence.

Teague said he had “never seen” the NBA superstar retracted the statement and mentioned Lebron James’ famous meltdown in 2011.

“I’ve never seen a superstar not offensive,” Teague said. “I’ve seen LeBron have a bad shooting night… I got it back and saw LeBron in the final against the (Dallas) Mavericks, and he wasn’t offensive.

“I’ve seen Tyres do this against other teams. You can pretty much rely on the bank for two games out of the series. He’s going to be passive.

“In the regular season, he had a game where he scored four points, and this year he had a game where he didn’t score.

“We know it’s going to happen with him, but what kind of games do we not know?

While there’s nothing wrong with Halliburton’s approach as a “pass-first” point guard, they also have to ask the Pacers to score 20 points each night to win the championship.

LeBron James had already established himself as the undoubtedly best player in basketball by 2011, so his NBA final performance was incredible.

James averaged 27 points per game in the 2010-11 regular season with a field goal efficiency of 51%.

The Miami Heat came in second with 58 wins in the Eastern Conference and was a huge favorite to beat the Mavericks in the Finals after an impressive playoff run.

Unfortunately, after a solid show with the Heat’s Game 1 victory, James fell apart for the rest of the series.

The worst performance of the 40 year old took place in Game 4, where he scored just 8 points on the road, with the Mavs ultimately winning the series with six.
