The UFC will return to South Florida on Saturday to win the new featherweight champion.
In UFC 314, former 145-pound title holder Alexander Volkanovsky (26-5 MMA, 13-4 UFC) will face Diego Lopez (27-6 MMA, 6-1 UFC) for the belt vacant by Iliatopria, who won the title 14 months ago and beat Volkanovsky. The Topuria has released the belt to allow for lightweight movement.
This promotion has released the UFC 314 Cold Open video. This card has a featherweight title fixture between Volkanovski (26-5 MMA, 13-4 UFC) and Lopes (27-6 MMA, 6-1 UFC). In his co-star, Rising Star Paddy Pimblett (22-3 MMA, 6-0 UFC) meets former Bellator Champ Michael Chandler (23-9 MMA, 2-4 UFC).
The video is narrated by actor and regular UFC narrator Ron Perlman, and has the background soundtrack for “I Am The One” by Vo Williams and DJ Ricky Luna.
