“Christmas is early,” McKinney wrote in the accompanying caption. “(You) all have a look at International Battle Week.”
McKinney (16-7) has earned a reputation as one of the UFC’s most exciting fighter jets despite his mixed results within the octagon. He was 6-4 as a UFC fighter and never once had his career decisions, some of his matches ended in less than half rounds. In his latest outing in the past February, “T, Wrecks” required just two minutes to score a knockout from Damir Hadzovich.
Borshchev (8-5-1) is not a man who doesn’t know how to thrill fans. With eight UFC appearances, “Slava Claus” won three post-war bonuses. This includes the night battle for a thrilling three-round battle with Nazim Sadykhov, which ended in a majority draw. He’s only 1-2-1 in his last four appearances this February, losing to Tom Nolan.
UFC 317 is headlined in the vacant lightweight title match between undefeated Ilia Topuria and former champion Charles Oliveira. In the co-main event, flyweight champion Alexandre Pantja will win his fourth title defense when dealing with Australia’s Kaikara France.
