The UFC’s annual International Fight Week card is now official.
On Friday, the promotion announced two new matches for UFC 317. This will be set up at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on June 28th.
A welterweight matchup between longtime veteran Nico Price and knockout artist Jacobe Smith in the new contest. Eurosport first reported a matchup.
Smith, 29, will be appearing in the Octagon for the second time after signing a contract with the Dana White contender series this October. In his UFC debut, Smith destroyed Preston Parsons via a knockout in the first round.
Price has had a tough run with just two wins in the past nine outings. “The Hybrid” will make his first 2025 appearance after making the decision to Themba Gorimbo in October.
Also added a middleweight leaning as Cedriquez’s Dumas faces a promotional rookie, with undefeated Jackson McVay having a 100% finishing percentage in six matches between the LFA and Shamrock FC. The match was first reported by the Octagon Update.
The card no longer includes the middleweight match between Paulo Costa and Roma Kopirov. MMA Fighting has confirmed with several people who know about plans for the promotion to target UFC 318 in New Orleans next month.
Off Costa vs. Kopillov, the bantamweight contest between Payton Talbot and Felipe Lima is currently set to kick off the main card.
UFC 317 has headlined by the vacant lightweight title fight between Ilia Topuria and Charles Oliveira, but Alexandre Pantoja defends the flyweight title against Kai Kara-France.
