Johnnie Walker has revealed a secret that awakens happier than a billionaire.

He didn’t win his final three fights. There, the Brazilians square with the undefeated Russian standout Azamato Murzakanov.

Appearing on the Jaxxon podcast with former UFC champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson, Walker spoke about finding happiness in his life.

“Wake up is better than having billions of dollars from a 100% account,” Walker said. “So I wake up like a billionaire every day, and this is a secret, one of the secrets of life, and this is why I live a better and happier life.”

Johnny Walker details about the injury that took him from his return in January

Originally, Walker was scheduled to face Bogdan Guskov in UFC 311, but suffered an unusual injury during training and forced him to resign from the match.

“It wasn’t stupid,” Walker told MMA Junkie in January. “I was doing the last sparring, very technical timing. I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone. Sparring was tough, but very conscious. I was trying to get out of my jiu-jitsu position and throw myself like normal. I think something happened to the ribs. Then I had to stop to see what had happened, so it doesn’t get worse.

“The next day I got an x-ray. The UFC got the results and then pulled me out. They knew how bad the injury was. I was paying attention, I was trying so hard, and it was devastated. That’s what I’ve never hurt my rib before.”

Walker, who first entered the Octagon in 2018, quickly made waves with an impressive trio of victory. Since then, he has struggled to stay in the winning column with his biggest win streak in the 3, beating Aeon Katilaba, Paul Craig and Anthony Smith from 2022-2023.

On his final three outings, he went to a no-contest with Magomed Ankalaev before suffering a second round TKO against the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion in a rematch three months later.

Walker was then brutally knocked out in June on his final appearance with Forcan Ozdemir and dropped it to 7-6 within the Octagon.
