Jiu-Jitsu was the name of the UFC London game, at least for the four bonus winners on Saturday.
Sean Brady, Alexia Sheenala, Shawn Bannon and Kevin Holland all won a $50,000 night bonus in their epic victory at UFC London.
The Fight of the Night Award was not awarded, and instead, four single bonuses were generated.
Brady concluded the evening with an incredible finish from former UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards, becoming the first fighter to clear Edwards in the distance. It was a statement victory for Brady, who appears to be part of the 170-pound candidate after recording his third consecutive victory.
Thainara and Bannon also won the victory of submission, and debuting Thainara uses her dangerous ground skills to suffocate veteran Molly McCann (and send her to retirement), while Bannon recovers from a head kick knockdown and catches Puja Tomar with a slick arm bar.
In a rare example of a night bonus performance to go to fighters who didn’t win in knockouts or submissions, the Netherlands added to their bonus collection with the commander’s victory over Gunner Nelson. The Netherlands showed that Nelson could match up on the mat as they took Nelson towards a victory in an exciting unanimous decision.
This is 8 o’clock when the Netherlands won an evening performance.
