Waldo Cortez-Acosta will have a huge size advantage at UFC Vegas 110 on Saturday.
At Friday’s official weigh-in for the UFC’s return to APEX, Cortez Acosta weighed in at 263 pounds, three short of the heavyweight limit and more than 25 pounds heavier than his 237-pound opponent Ante Delja, who weighed in later. The top 15 ranked fighters will compete in the co-main event.
Cortez-Acosta (14-2) looks set to bounce back from a loss to Sergei Pavlovic that ended his winning streak at five, but Delija could cap off a spectacular 2025 season by defeating Cortez-Acosta less than two months after knocking out Marcin Tybura in his UFC debut.
Ahead of the big main event opportunity, Steve Garcia and David Onama also put in some big business.
The rapidly rising featherweight division will headline the UFC for the first time in a matchup in Las Vegas. Both fighters made weight gains, with Garcia now at 145.5 pounds and Garcia at 146 pounds.
Garcia (18-5) will look to extend his current run to seven straight wins, while Onama (14-2) has raised his hand for the fourth time in a row, so someone’s winning streak will continue.
All 26 fighters competing at UFC Vegas 110 on Saturday successfully weighed in.
