Daniel Cormier evenly scored with Chael Sonnen.

Dongchenko used it as a stable diet for leg kicks and as a counter punch to run through the Game Martins, trapping most of the fight. In a postwar summary, Cormier praised Martins for his toughness in his lost effort.
It was Cormier’s turn to make the first match-up pick of the season, and he took on Sonnen’s final flyweight pick, Alsiyan Memon (India), along with his third flyweight pick, Imanor Rodriguez (Mexico).
