Aston Villa manager Unai Emery is reportedly a longtime admirer of Chelsea striker Nicholas Jackson.
Sky Sports Journalist Dharmesh Sheth talks about Jackson’s future and has named the Villa one of Senegal International’s worshippers.
A previous Sky Reporter posted to X on Twitter confirmed that Manchester United is also one of Jackson’s potential suitors, as reported in The Times.
If you believe some pretty surprising recent reports from the Daily Mail, see below for Sheth’s post about Jackson.
Sheth posted: “How many clubs are looking at the situation of Chelsea’s Nicholas Jackson. I told Manchester United. I’m currently focusing on Brian Mbeumo and sales.
Nicholas Jackson could be a smart signature for Aston Villa, but not £100 million!
Jackson didn’t exactly set the world at Chelsea, but he shows he has a glimpse of some decent possibilities.
It’s certainly easy to imagine the 24-year-old being able to shine elsewhere in the Premier League.
The Villa already has Ollie Watkins ahead of time, but after selling John Duran in January, they were able to do it deeper in that division.
Jackson seems like a wise choice that the AVFC should consider, but of course he shouldn’t pay him anywhere near £100 million, as the email reported.
It’s hard to imagine Chelsea getting crazy money for Jackson after his rather indifferent form, so it’ll be interesting to see if they stick firmly to the price of negotiating something else.
