The in Los Angeles will visit the White House on April 7th to celebrate their World Series victory under President Donald Trump.

Superstar Shortstop Mookie Betts, who refused an invitation to the White House under President Trump in 2019, said he has not yet decided what to do in two weeks via Jack Harris of the LA Times.
Betts said he would discuss it with his family before making a decision.
In 2019, Betts was among 10 Red Sox players who refused to be invited to the White House under President Trump. The team’s manager, Alex Cora, was also not present.
“I’m not going there,” Betts told the Boston Globe at the time. “I decided not to.”
manager Dave Roberts hinted that if the win the World Series, they would not attend the White House in 2019.
“You have to win first,” Roberts said. “But one trip to DC plays the Nationals, and for me there are a lot.”
However, this time, Roberts said he would be present.

“It’s certainly a great honor to get an invitation to the White House. We can celebrate the 2024 championship. My understanding is that every World Series champion will earn that honor,” Roberts said Tuesday. “I respect that position. It’s certainly the best office in the world, so I look forward to it.”
The will visit the White House on April 7th, and members of the team will visit Capitol Hill on April 8th.
“In line with the long-standing baseball tradition, President Trump invited the 2024 world champion Los Angeles to the White House when he played in Washington, DC on April 7th,” the wrote about the X.
