Manchester United legend Teddy Shellingham has made a rather bold claim that he can see Cobby Mineu leaving the Red Devils for a move to Leeds United.
England International is currently struggling with playing time at Old Trafford, and his future could be questionable again in January.
Mainoo was linked to many clubs over the summer, according to Daily Mail and others, but his playing situation hasn’t improved much, but he stayed at Man UTD.
Catch off side He was informed of Leeds’ interest in signing Mainoo, and now Sheringham has spurred talk about the potential move.

Talking about Mine in a Yorkshire post, Sheringham revealed that he felt he could see a deal with Leeds that he was doing well for both sides.
When asked if Mainoo was a player, he said: “Yes – no doubt. Even six months ago, he was an English set-up and people were raving about him.
“He needs to get someone who loves how he plays. This game is all about opinions, and just because Amorim doesn’t fantasize about him doesn’t mean that (Daniel) Fark won’t make the most of him.
“You put your arms around him, tell him how good he is, work with someone in the middle that will hold him, and suddenly, you’ll get the player back in your hands. If Leeds can lend him that person, that’s definitely a plus point.”
Will Man United let Mine go?
Mainoo has gone through United’s Academy and the club has a proud record of bringing it through homemade talent all the time.
The 20-year-old looks like he can have a big future ahead of him, but he might now be better off trying his luck at another club.
Leeds may be a good choice as he is guaranteed to play there, but MUFC is extremely reluctant to allow academy alumni to join their major rivals.
