“Gyokeres: For the first time since May 2025, Arsenal contacted his camp four days ago to ask about the conditions for signing him. No bids were made, but Arsenal didn’t put all his eggs in the same basket.
“What’s clear is that Sesco is the first option and Gyokeres is the second option for now. There’s also talk about Victor Osimchen, but Arsenal can’t afford his wages.”
Gyokeres has also been appointed Man United, but the 27-year-old has prioritized transitioning to the Emirates. Arsenal wants things to move quickly and personal terms are unlikely to be a problem, so all you need is a fee agreement with a sport that is rumoured to be looking for over £60 million.
Gyoker finished second in the European Golden Boot Race last season, scoring 39 goals in 33 league appearances in the sport. Arsenal has won proven goal scorers if he participates and has never played in the Premier League, but has British football experience in Brighton, Swansea and Coventry.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal will be able to finalize Gyoker’s deal in the coming weeks. Mikel Arteta is eager to put a new striker at the door for the start of the preseason, which begins early in July.
