The Valtteri Bottas drove in the team’s dominant 2020 F1 car and returned to Mercedes action with a circuit pole Ricardo.
After failing to land a full-time drive in Sauber in 2025, Botas returned to Mercedes as a test and reserve driver.
Bottas was active earlier this year, driving a McLaren on the MCL60 since 2023.
The test was seen as a preparation for Bottas in case he had to withstand any McLaren driver.
Mercedes and McLaren have shared reserve drivers for many years.
Bottas returned to the back of the Mercedes wheels and drove the W11 over the weekend.
Finn drove on Circuit Paul Riccard, which held the French Grand Prix between 2018 and 2022.
Kimi Antoneri also got more testing time under his belt.
The 18-year-old Italian was in his 2025 Mercedes W16 car.
