The Boston Celtics are again short on the New York Knicks, with major questions raised about Jason Tatum.
True NBA superstar Jayson Tatum has already recorded over 70 career playoff victories. However, he hasn’t added this tally in his playoff series with the New York Knicks.
The Knicks surged to a 2-0 series lead with two wins at TD Garden, and they scored two comeback wins to surprise the Boston Celtics.
Jason Tatum came after Game 1 for criticism that he had not taken over the game and struggled to influence the 91-90 defeat in Game 2.
Jason Tatum scored only 13 points in a loss in Game 2 of Celtics, despite playing in 42 minutes.
While he grabbed 14 rebounds, Tatum was inefficient in his shooting. The numbers are poor 5/19 from the field, earning 3 to 1/5.

Former New York Knicks player Wally Schuzalbiak believes Jason Tatum still feels the impact of his injury in Game 1 of the Celtics series with Orlando Magic.
Tatum returned to score at the high pace of the rest of the game after missing out on a playoff game for the first time in Game 2 of the Magic Series.
Szczerbiak said: “He looks lost and hurt. I saw him fall in the fourth quarter. He seems very scared to put his hands on the ground. You can see how he releases the ball. It’s not a clean release.”
If Tatum is not performing at a high level, it has an impact. Jaylen Brown has a 20-point score, a solid but apparent return.
Szczerbiak added: “One thing about the Celtics is, when they dive into their roster, they really don’t have a pure point guard.
He also said he was confused by the use of Kristaps Porzingis, which he played only 27 minutes in the series when he fought illness.
“I can’t believe Pruzingis isn’t in the game at the end of the game. Al Horford is defensive and he’s a great veteran, but there’s what Porzingis brings, the elements.
