Erman Zarkian destroyed Benson Henderson.
On Friday, the Emperor and Henderson faced a grappling match at the absolute championship of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu 18 in Moscow, taking the former UFC lightweight champion against the current first lightweight contender. And in the battles of this era, the new schools came to full control.
Check out the Emperor who puts Henderson to sleep below.
At 28, the emperor was 13 years younger than Henderson, and the age gap was very clear from the start, as the emperor seemed to move at twice the speed of “smooth” speed. He almost immediately established a dominant position, overwhelming Henderson with a submission attack, easily taking the front headlock to a trial, and sometimes mixed with Kimura attacks. Henderson, the praised BJJ black belt, was able to defend the emperor’s attacks, but he did not produce his own attacks and simply survived.
Eventually, time lingered, and the emperor placed a triangular choke on his arm, leaping over Henderson’s body to lock it up.
Following the match, former UFC fighter Milebeck Taizmov walked over the mat and faced off against the emperor, setting up a future grappling match between the two.
