Leicester City striker Jamie Birdie has released an emotional farewell video to fans of the club as he decided to leave King Power Stadium at the end of this current campaign.
The Fox legend, who won the Premier League title with that memorable club for the 2015/16 season, decided to try a new challenge and insisted he would not retire.
Check out below as Vardy looks back at his time in Leicester. After a surprising move to the club in the championship, where his only previous experience was league football, he became one of the club’s best players…
Vardy became a great signing for Leicester, scoring a total of 198 goals for the fox and was found seven times behind the net with 26 British caps.
The 38-year-old has time to score 200 goals for Leicester between now and the end of the season, and fans certainly want him to do that.
But even if he didn’t, Vardy would certainly be a great modern Premier League.
