Khabib Nurmagomedov still has a lot of passion for the game.
Though the days of the legendary battles of the UFC have been going on for a long time, Nurmagomedov was the mainstay among the corners of his elite crew, including Protégé Islam Makhachev. Makhachev followed Nurmagomedov’s indomitable footsteps, winning the last 15 battles, losing only once, in favor of 28.

In the main event of pay-per-view on January 18th, Makhachev defended the UFC’s lightweight alternative title late in the title. Makhachev was very much preferred to hold his belt, but it is clear that his team did not take away the “money”.
Nurmagomedov can be seen with a tense expression on his face as he tells Makhachev’s horn not to celebrate prematurely, even if the champion is trapped in a tight bravo choke. Only when Makhachev secures the finish will a typical stoic Nurmagomedov jump in his face with an ec-like appearance.
Makhachev and Nurmagomedov are doing taller work before them as Makhachev, who recently won the lightweight title, moved up to 170 pounds to challenge welterweight champion Jack Madarena at UFC 322 in New York on November 15th.
